Community Initiatives

At FPBC, we are committed to improving the community of Barry County.  To fulfill that goal, our staff actively participates in and collaborates with various community organizations.

The Barry Community Resource Network (BCRN) is a state-endorsed community collaborative organized to improve the quality of life for all residents of Barry County.  BCRN collaborates to identify and respond to community needs. The vision of the BCRN is a partnership building a healthy community.

Barry Community Resource Network

Originating with the Barry County Great Start Collaborative, a work group was formed with the intention of making Barry County a trauma-informed community.

Barry County Community Breakfasts

A network of Barry County organizations put on a quarterly community breakfast. This event combines a delicious breakfast, fellowship and education about a local organization or community project.

Lakewood Area Chamber of
Commerce Networking Breakfast

The Chamber holds monthly breakfasts & bi-annual "after hours" receptions. These events are opportunities to network with other business owners and share what makes your business or organization special. The knowledge and respect formed between our local business professionals result in referrals to friends, family and peers.
