Families & Kids Volunteer Opportunities

Evening Volunteer

You can make a meal for families to enjoy or enterain kids staying in our day center or at our host congregations. It's a great way to support our families staying in our shelter.

Freezer Meals

Cook your favorite freezer meals for families moving home, staying in our shelter, or even for our prevention families. When families move home, we help fill their freezer and pantry to help them get settled into their next chapter of their journey. For our shelter and prevention families, this is a good way to help them stretch their dollar and keep making payments on time without having to worry about their next meal.

Day Center

Help us out by keeping our space clean and organized for our families and kids, assembling a variety of craft and thank you projects, performing data entry or other administrative duties, organizing our donations, etc.

Furniture Delivery

When a family loses their home, they tend to lose many of their personal belongings as well. Delivering a bed or piece of furniture helps make their new house feel like home.

Host a Donation Drive

Bring together your family, friends, and/or collegues to collect items like diapers, food, hygiene products and other basic need items. This is a fun and easy way to support the families we serve through our programs.
